Colombian born artist Dum K has been firing out melodic and deep house sounds for the last couple of years.  His latest single ‘Immaculate’ lands on Blond:ish’s ABRACADABRA imprint, and radiates positive energy and good times with a breezy Afro house smash!

The foundations of a hypnotising percussive rhythm and deft pianos is lifted with enchanting vocals and propulsive bass, as the artist explains “The idea behind the track was initially to make a combination between afro and melodic rhythms, giving it a lot of colour and good vibrations, so that when it’s played on the dance floor, it is one of the best moments”.

Having previously releases on labels such as Believe House Records, Platform 7even, Trippy Code and Hurry Up Slowly, Dum K’s arrival on ABRACADBRA mark something of a milestone for the producer, as he explains; “I have followed Viv's work for many years, I have always liked her music and the energy she transmits when playing. I was in the process of finding my sound and I started receiving support for my tracks from Malóne (Abracadabra's A&R), so I decided to send him the Immaculate track. It was so very exciting when Malóne wrote to me and told me that Viv loved and wanted to sign up the track, it is a total joy to be able to release on this incredible label.”

connected welcomes back label regular Da Mike for a fresh new tune featuring American vocalist Biishop with remixes from David Mayer and Kintar.

Da Mike is one of Greece's finest electronic exports and someone who can do all forms of House Music. 

His decade-long journey has taken him to Saved, MoBlack and King Street where his emotive and pulsing grooves continue to stand out.
His captivating new track 'Left My Body' started in the Greek countryside in the second lockdown.
It has a machine-like drum and synth rhythm with flashes of melancholic melody that cast a dreamy spell. The striking vocal from Biishop describes an out-of-body experience in powerful fashion before a poignant breakdown resets the mood and the tune rolls once more.

After some time away, David Mayer is back on this label with one of his trademark remixes. He takes the tune deep, stripping it back and allowing the bassline room to breathe. All in all, it's a track that has
an excellently alluring effect. 

Last up is Argentina's Kintar who has an ever-growing production and
remix profile on labels like Sudam Recordings, MoBlack and Monaberry as well as this one. Here he adds some extra thump to the bottom end while tweaking the arrangement but allowing the original vocal to retain its hovering glory.

These are three effortlessly moving new house tracks on the essential connected.

'Valexx is back with an Afro house release on My Other Side of The Moon which features an unparalleled voice you can’t fail to recognize: Tabia. Top South African artist, Tabia gives the character of the track, with an intense vocal which stands out over the convincing synth and the powerful bass.

The package includes three remixes, by Aaron Sevilla, Moish & Vasilis, and Da Africa Deep, all first class afro house producers.

Aaron Sevilla starts with a different rhythm, a softer piano and a dynamic bass. As the piano chords evolve, the drums also introduce new elements, and the enchanting voice leads to the end with increased energy. This is a nice one for the dance floor!

Moish & Vasilis push strongly on the rhythm and the drums as well. This is yet another interpretation of the hypnotizing synths and melodies the track intrinsically offers. In a crescendo of intensity the instruments and melodies layer upon each other and end in an explosion of energy.

Last but not least, Da Africa Deep offers yet another energetic version, with forceful drums and a bass that creates new jazzy vibes. Thumbs up to Valexx and Tabia for an excellent afro house piece ready to be played in all these different sauces!'
