“Endless” is silént phil’s latest sound experimentation, a four-track descent into dynamic, shapeshifting atmospheres and tempos. Inspired by Japanese cyberpunk and futurism, the EP is both dark and luminous at the same time, emotional yet heavy. Each track reveals a new shade of silént phil’s sonic vision, enriched by the collaboration with incredible artists such as EPIPHAGI, Pleural and Cel Genesis.

“In times gone by were the Moonstone Bardfolks, a gathering of wanderers and fortuneless artists, whose sworn members pledged to bring joy and harmony to the peoples through the power of dance. The secret of this guild lied in the potent vitality and charming spirit their instruments could deliver. These magical tools were to be acquired after a thorough rite of passage, following a long journey to reach their master, the mighty Victus.

As a sage among the sages, it was said his musical proficiency was able to bend space and time, to warp sounds in unearthly ways. The mysterious scholar could bewitch any instrument so that it would play enchanted sounds and magical notes able to make the listeners move with unmatched fervor, thus allowing the companions to propagate delight and ecstasy among their kind.

One day, Victus disappeared abruptly, leaving only the most ancient members of the fellowship with the ability to sustain life and maintain peace. Quickly, the community became almost extinct, unable to fulfill their mission. Driven by the urgent need to make bodies dance anew, with a desperate faith in the grace of music and the mercy of sounds, its last remaining members were determined to seek for this illustrious wizard. But only one clue could help them find his divine spirit, a peculiar object left by Victus before his vanishing : a simple headdress, known as Coiffelafougue.”

Expanding further the processes of collaboration of the CLMxGUN project, SEED singles are individual tracks resulting from a spontaneous association between two or more members of the Global URL Nation and beyond.

Emerging from the cross-pollination happening among the GUN community, they recombine musical genres and cultural backgrounds into a variety of sounds, producing new breeds and species in the landscape of electronic music. They blossom along the trail of the CLMxGUN journey, providing unique delicacies and brief satisfactions to be picked up and enjoyed in the moment.

"Poussière. Plastique. Résidu. Ruines. Je me réveille et ne reconnais rien de ce paysage de néant pourtant si plein. Le ciel est d’un rose rance et terrifiant. Sur ce sol accidenté, rien ne semble avoir résisté, ni image, ni écran. Rien si ce n’est des débris, des reliquats de vies passées, d'existences numériques. De la mousse phosphorescente a recouvert mes pieds. A tout recouvert. Entre effroi et émerveillement, je contemple les alentours, médusé. 
Alors que de nouvelles voix et un nouveau langage résonnent en moi, le silence environnant m’accable. Pourtant au loin j’entends des sirènes en écho. Elles m’appellent. An ode to failure!

Departing from the image of the genius artists, the Hit&Miss compilation wants to show the hidden parts of creation, by embracing missteps and abandonment as a natural part of any artistic journey. 

Open to all members of the Global URL Nation, it proposed a new home for projects that couldn't find a place to exist otherwise, due to artistic (self-)exigency, technical problems, bad timing or any other reason often unknown to the general public. 

With more than 20 artists from a broad range of styles, experience and locations, it gathers unfinished projects such as aborted WIP, forgotten drafts, lost files, unconvincing demos, compulsive emotional bursts or technical experimentations. 

With all its flaws and raw cuts, Hit&Miss asserts the strength of trial and error, and cherishes the impossibility to develop an idea into a finished object as a learning process towards one's growth.

A blast from the past, an almost forgotten era, has resurrected from the vaults of old damaged hard disks and obliterated cloud storage. These digital artifacts have been dusted off and some have even gotten renovated or shined up a bit, to be resembled and released on katharsis. The duo J Sliwa brings us everything from classic euro-dance melodies on "Closer" to the hardcore psytrance vibes on "Dragonslayer" or highly energetic hyperpop sounds on "Higher". One thing is sure though - the whole thing goes harder than ever.
