Originally released on Argot in 2012, this was one of my first ever releases but I still find that these tunes stack up against most things I've done since. "Finally" is a simple but extremely effective chugger and "Tomorrow's News" is an ode to sunshine, psychedelics, and the Korg M1. The latter is still one of the things I'm most proud of as an artist, so hopefully folks will enjoy it as much as I still do.

A lot of people love closing, I love opening. Taking the party from 0 to whatever level feels appropriate is a challenging and exciting task. Letting things simmer a bit longer than you normally would to build suspense and then goin for it at the end so you can hand it off to someone you respect is super rewarding. This is an oldie that I just realized I had recorded from a Slack (my residency at smartbar) in 2017. A slow, groovy burn with a few flubs, but whatever; if you don't fuck up a bit playing records for 3 hours and change you're not trying hard enough (or better than me).

This is a set of 100% (mostly unreleased or forthcoming) tunes I made or collaborated on. It spans Zhané reworks to my Carl Craig impression to ready-to-No-Way-Back psychedelic chaos to slick top-down Detroit influenced electro. This is the first time I've done anything like this, but I'm pretty happy with the results. Hope you enjoy, as well!

This starts with ambient, goes into some deep artsy house and techno, some downtempo, some digidub, and some other stuff. Enjoy!

Kansan by birth, Chicagoan by honor, Berliner by chance. Olin has devoted most of their waking life to the
transformative power of The Rave. With several releases on labels such as Argot, Discovery, Nervous,
Night Owl Diner, Detour, and Sound of Berlin, Olin has cast a wide net with their productions, which range
from deep techno to italo disco. Their label, Boundary Monument, aims to capture the various intersections
of their sundry taste. Their DJ sets offer a peculiar pulse and are often expansive uninhibited affairs. Now
Berlin-based, they are a current Refuge Radio resident and are a former longtime resident and booker of
legendary Chicago institution, smartbar.

Iron Curtis and Gleisi123 start us off with a delightful selection that spans bossa nova to breaks to delightfully saccharin synth pop and I bring us home with synth-heavy chuggers.

Figured I would at least toss up SOMETHING today, given Bandcamp's generous offer and my less than ideal situation.

This is a remix/rework of one of the first "techno" records I ever bought wayyyy back in the mid 2000s. I didn't have two turntables at home, so I would bring this along with a few other records I had to the studio for my radio show at KJHK in college, and basically just on-air trainwreck over and over in hopes of improving over time. I eventually did, but the listeners of Radio Stylus really took the hit for everyone.

Like so many others, I am very out to sea by all of this and would love any support you can throw my way. I quit my job to move my life across the Atlantic so I could try and commit to this artist thing, and now it's a bit more than I can chew given the fact that all gigs for everyone are suspended indefinitely.

If you got a few bucks, toss em my way in whatever amount you can afford. If you're an artist just trying to keep your head above water, this one's on me!
