We recently sat down with Yamour, who spent years refining her musical knowledge at the iconic Hard Wax store in Berlin. Rooted in American House & Techno, Yamour’s sets are all about the groove. In our Blitzcast 022 and the accompanying interview, she shares insights into her stunning selection and what’s currently on her mind. Figured I would at least toss up SOMETHING today, given Bandcamp's generous offer and my less than ideal situation.

This is a remix/rework of one of the first "techno" records I ever bought wayyyy back in the mid 2000s. I didn't have two turntables at home, so I would bring this along with a few other records I had to the studio for my radio show at KJHK in college, and basically just on-air trainwreck over and over in hopes of improving over time. I eventually did, but the listeners of Radio Stylus really took the hit for everyone.

Like so many others, I am very out to sea by all of this and would love any support you can throw my way. I quit my job to move my life across the Atlantic so I could try and commit to this artist thing, and now it's a bit more than I can chew given the fact that all gigs for everyone are suspended indefinitely.

If you got a few bucks, toss em my way in whatever amount you can afford. If you're an artist just trying to keep your head above water, this one's on me!

As we collectively take a moment to ruminate and ponder an uncertain future, the music stays with us, guiding us through the sullen seclusion of the moment. Our next guest Andrey PUSHKAREV has a particular way of wrapping the listener in an endless blanket of warm resonant chords, slowly subduing them into a contemplative trance. Hailing from the hardened landscapes of Russia, he has made a name for himself as a top purveyor of deep, dubby grooves that uplift into insight. Using music as a medium, he externalizes the infinite complexities of his reality into a simple yet all-encompassing passage of sound. The result is as captivating as it is comforting, and we are very pleased to present this spring edition of UNRUSH from the maestro himself.
