A few weeks ago, I sat down at the piano with the intention of simply... writing. Running my own business with all sorts of music projects, there's a lot more that happens than just creating. There's emails, files, networking, spreadsheets, research, social media, repairs, practice, finances, on and on... and don't get me wrong - I genuinely enjoy it all, or at least learning and developing different skills. But sometimes the ROOT of what I do and the goals I'm pursuing get lost, and I forget to sit down... and create.

On that day that I sat down at the piano, I ended up writing and recording four songs. I started and finished the entire project in one long sitting. I went back to the root. It was refreshing, and restorative.

This is 'Traditions & Traitors.'

I hope it can be special to you, as well, as you navigate life and its busy seasons. I hope you can sit down for a few minutes and just.... be.

Ode to the Sea is a conceptual, instrumental acoustic guitar album based on my impressions of the sea, translated into music. All of the compositions included on this EP are inspired by the sea and they attempt to capture what the sea waves whisper to my ears while I'm listening to them. All of the tracks are in open Eb Major guitar tuning, but each one of them is unique. This album is intended for everyone who likes instrumental music of any kind, as well as for fans of movie soundtracks or guitar enthusiasts.

Oliver Nosaczynski Bohovič is a composer, multi instrumentalist and singer/songwriter from Banská Štiavnica, Slovakia.
His musical journey began at the age of 10 through keyboard and singing lessons, although his passion for music was notable since the early childhood. He later also took private guitar, piano and composition lessons, but is largely self-taught.
A versatile composer, known for his original and recognizable style, he composes various genres including Classical music, Pop, Rock, Jazz, Film music and music for various projects and clients such as one of the leading online games developer Pixel Federation. In recent years he has been mainly focusing on his solo project.
His debut LP album Ballerina was picked amongst the best albums of 2017 by Nový Populár, a respected Slovak music magazine and has also received favorable reviews abroad. Ballerina has since achieved significant success on streaming services.
His latest album is Ode to the Sea, which became popular on international Acoustic guitar and New age radio stations.
Oliver has also released a number of singles, most notably a jazz ballad ''You Are My Everything'' which became a success on various streaming services.
His upcoming solo piano single Distant is scheduled for release on September 8, 2023
