"This song is about my original character Yeva. https://toyhou.se/1798789.yeva Here is her character page with art and facts in case you are curious about her!

This song symbolizes Yeva as a person, as I always make character themes. This song is supposed to represent her joy within her despair, and her big sister Zoyas presence as well. I have put in clock ticks as she is a clock maker, and wind to represent the tundra region she lives in. The song is mellow and steady, but ramps up to extremes and intensity. I feel like it represents some of Yevas essence. Both Yeva and Zoya are two of my favorite characters, and I wanted to really represent both of them as clearly as I could through music.

Both "the Mistake" and "the Dreamer" have each others main themes in them, so you will hear Zoyas theme and influence in Yevas, and vice versa. They also have the same "despair" theme in them, which you hear towards the end of both songs. Yeva and Zoya are family, and they are very close to one another.

I name my songs after words associated with the character that the song is about. Yeva's song is named "the Mistake" because her parents and peers considers her to be one, and what they feel about Yeva has shaped her life. I don't consider Yeva to be a mistake, but I've always felt stronger to take things other say about you and twist them around to make yourself proud over your hardships."
