New York und München – zwei ziemlich gegensätzliche Städte. In beiden hat die Künstlerin Bashkka lange gelebt. Als queere DJ und Producerin hat sie es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, den Vibe der New Yorker LGBTQI-Szene in das konventionellere München zu bringen. Sie legt als Solo-Künstlerin auf, organisiert queere Partys und ist seit neustem Resident im Münchener Blitz Club. Wir haben Bashkka zum Interview getroffen, um über ihren Werdegang als DJ, die Sichtbarkeit von queeren Themen und den Unterschied zwischen Vorbildern und Inspiration zu sprechen. Eoin’s DJ sets draw from all corners of the dance music spectrum — weaving together psychedelic techno, rolling trance, breakbeats, dubby textures, and percussive cuts with ease. With over a decade of experience behind the decks, their sound is grounded, fluid and trippy, with a knack for building immersive, late-night atmospheres that sit somewhere between intensity and introspection.

This mix was recorded at home in one take using two XDJ-700s and a Xone 23 mixer. It was put together in one take and serves as a kind of aural companion to Eoin's Second Sky release — a snapshot of the more techno-leaning side of their sound.
