To celebrate 14 years of inthemix, we're looking back at the big tunes of each year since we were founded, with special year mixes by the hottest DJs of the time.

Following on from Kid Kenobi's year 2000 mix, trance star BeXta's 2001 mix, prog-breaks whiz Ivan Gough 2002 mix and Mark Dynamix's double mixes of tech-house and electroclash for 2003 is Melbourne's underground king Boogs, who's put together a "2004-ish" mix of his biggest tunes from that era.

Midland marked the maiden voyage on his ReGraded imprint only two months ago, with his Double Feature EP. Without a second to lose, the second release is set to go, with newcomer Hubie Davison and his Sanctified EP now at the helm. The title track has become a staple of Midland's sets throughout summer, with it first entering our radars during his BR x Dekmantel set (check the exact moment it dropped here). Satisfaction so deep, it prompted Midland to contact Hubie to see if he'd consider releasing it on ReGraded. Though the label may still be in its infancy, the calibre exemplified in this second release proves it to be unparalleled.

REGRD002 drops on 27 November strictly only on vinyl.

Fouk’s brilliance has been obvious on recent work for their own label Outplay and Razor ‘n Tape, as well as their respective solo projects. We’ve kept a close connection, teaming up whenever possible for Heist showcases, with highlights in Amsterdam’s “Claire” and Paris’ “Concrete”. Seeing their work and enthusiasm made it abundantly clear that it would only be a matter of time before they’d show us what the next step would look -or better yet- sound like.

Mr. Fitz Full Moon Set

This week’s show was recorded live at Laroc Club in Brazil, about an hour outside Sao Paolo.  I absolutely loved this place!  It was so big, it almost felt like a festival set.  As a result, I had the chance to test out some massive records, including a few you might not have heard before.  This episode includes a remaster of my track Crazi, which came out on Collecti Part 2, and some other treats from myself and the Yoshitoshi catalogue.
