Such a pleasure to hear the recording, because the room added a certain distance and lack of intimacy, having the sound from your recordings really allows more of a perspective akin to that of the position right inside the piano, the most gorgeous spots when not given a room with any kind of true acoustic afterglow. 

So gorgeous in the kinda stretched time towards the end, like a kinda anacrusis?

The applacuse I can only join in, as I did, to affirm the deservedness of its praise, you really were a treat, I hope I get the chance to share a bill with you again some day.

Chaos

Today I was lazing by Rutland Water (in England) with my fiancée and I had this feeling of complete and utter calm, peacefulness, and contentment. And at the same time I had the inspiration for the sound of this piece - not the melody, rhythm, or chords.... just the sound.

I managed to retain that feeling and somehow combined a couple of effects plugins to recreate that sound... and here it is (together with a melody of course).

All in all the effect took about 20 minutes to get right and then the writing and recording took another 20 minutes... sometimes when the muse gives you an idea she gives it complete!
