10 years ago NOMAD got fed up with all the Techno and House played in Berlins Clubs and Bars , and started a very innocent approach of a first party based on what he loved : Crate digging, leftfield world disco music, Afro Funky, Antillais Zouk, Cosmic and Tropical Island dance music.

After the success of the first Party at Bar Luzia , he involved his friends HUNEE , EMIL DOESN'T DRIVE and CHEERS CHRIS aka DJ RAINBOW into the Project.
The four Musketeers put on parties in changing locations , that always presented some of the best Diggers and Dj's of different styles and a unique decoration.

Over the Years, HUNEE became a extremely sucessful worldtravelling DJ and Producer , EMIL moved back into his Homeland Bulgaria and put up his own Partyseries there, and CHRIS became DJ RAINBOW and father of the RECORDLOFT and of 2 beautiful Kids. 
NOMAD kept the ball rolling , with 3 monthly VULKANDANCE offshoots ZOUKTIME and BOUM VACANCES - continuing to present his faves of the World Dance Genre. 

For the first time, in 7 years , 3 of the original Residents are in town + will play together at this unique Birthday, hosted from our favourite place in the world : SAMEHEADS Berlin.

This Party is not only a homecoming for VULKANDANCE , but in this constellation also a homecoming to SAMEHEADS - as all the above were close, but especially EMIL a part of the project from the beginning.

DJ GUEST of the night, is worldtraveller SUMO SUI - so be prepared to dance to some beautiful rare ass Caribean Funk and Disco, Afro and Tropical vibes thrown into the mix.

This is a family style night ! Lots of lovin' , fun and laughter and great music and dance. Who cramps the vibe, will have to go. No Racism.No Queerfear. No Macho Bullshit.

Back by popular demand! Following the release of 90's Wax debut record, late 2017, the Tusk Wax sub-label re-emerges with another 4-tracker by Younger Than Me. As the name suggests, the record label's output draws heavy influences of the nineties rave movement and brings it back to a contemporary dance floor setting over the course of a limited vinyl only series.

Earlier this month we caught up with the Milan-based duo to talk about the forthcoming 12", their close involvement with the Tusk Wax sub-label, connection to Amsterdam and other things to come. Following onwards from there, we're delighted to present the A1 of their second 90's Wax outing.

I'm very proud to annonce my remix of legendary italo masterpiece: Duke Lake - "Do You". It's a great privilege and huge honor for me to be asked to do the first ever official remix in 37 years. Orginally made in 1983 by italo dream team: Antonello Gabelli, Ottavio Bacciocchi, J. D. Jaber, Alessandro Zanni and Stefano Cundari.
