The mood throughout this song is absolutely spot on, really great work!

This is my latest creation :) I wanted to really try to use my imagination and imagine something that would relate to some sort of 'valorous' figure in a film/game soundtrack, and this is what I have so far. I may work on this a little more and try to create more variations of some of the melodies. Let me know what you think! Thanks! :)

Valorous- Video Game Opening Titles

"Tatiana’s Timepiece" - I set out to create a “sonic story” for this track by composing mini segments using Hanz Zimmers’ theme, predominantly the vocal stem. In the section after the opening, I manipulated the main music fragment to craft a melodic line that somehow modulates from one tonal center to the next, and used varying meters alternately 4/4, 3/4/, 2/4).  The use of clock sounds add to an “imagined storyline” allusion to this 90-seconder piece. Enjoy the time travel! =)

Hi there.

I'm a 21 year old who enjoys composing as a hobby. Playing the violin for 15 years I have always been surrounded and influenced by music. I started composing around 3/4 years ago now as and when, and have managed to get a few pieces finished... Although I still have a lot of unfinished projects that may take some time, which is probably one of the reasons I don't post as often as i'd like! 

I'm hoping to learn more about composing through electronic programs, and I'm currently using the latest version of FL Studio. I would like to learn more about the program, since at the minute, I know enough to produce music, but not quite enough to make them sound as professional as i'd like... This is also down to a lack of funds to purchase plug-ins. All in good time! I hope to develop over the years and keep writing often. In the mean time, I'll upload pieces on here and I'm more than happy to listen to advice and constructive criticism. After all, there isn't much planning involved in my writing, it mainly comes from my head!
