Beijing is the capital of the People's Republic of China. Beijing has a history spanning over three thousand years and is one of China's four municipalities directly under the central government, meaning it has the status of a province.

The entire 16,411 square kilometer administrative area of ​​Beijing has a population of 21,893,095 (as of the 2020 census). Most of the area is rural, and in addition to the core city of Beijing, other urban settlements are embedded within it. Of the total population, 11.8 million are registered permanent residents (戶口 / 户口, hùkǒu) and 7.7 million are temporary residents (流動人口 / 流动人口, liúdòng rénkǒu) with temporary residence permits (暫住證 / 暂住证, zànzhùzhèng). Based on the core city (high building density and compact urban form), around 7.7 million people live in Beijing as their primary residence; the metropolitan area (including suburbs) has 11.8 million inhabitants (as of 2007). From 2018, the metropolis is to become the core of a megalopolis of 130 million inhabitants called Jing-Jin-Ji.

Cycles - Spring

This is the Vocalite's journey to the stars.

After the first two parts, this track brings the short sci-fi saga 
about this enigmatic race to a close for now. If you're interested, 
there may be more tracks featuring them.

But, back to the Story:

In a distant nebula of sound, the Vocalites were born. They were not bodies, but voices — pure streams of tone and color drifting through the cosmos. Each Vocalite carried a unique resonance: some bright and crystalline, others deep and warm like starlight filtered through dust. Together they shaped a single track, a living composition woven out of their shared energy and their shared purpose.

This track was about shaping the Vocalite’s energies and pursuing a common goal.
They wanted to build a bridge of harmony that could be heard across galaxies, a beacon for every lost signal and lonely echo in the void.

The universe was not silent. From the dark between stars, galactic dissonances emerged — harsh, fractured tones that sliced through the music. They twisted harmonies, bent notes out of tune, scattered the Vocalites into distant corners of the track. For a moment, it seemed the song would dissolve into chaos.

The Vocalites were not afraid. Undeterred, they listened for each other in the static. A single tone rose — a soft, solitary note calling out into the noise. Another answered. Then another. Little by little, the scattered voices found each other again, their frequencies aligning like stars returning to a constellation.

They gathered energy with every reunion. Each Vocalite stepped forward with its solo voice — clear, fearless, and unmistakably its own. One by one, their solos cut through the dissonance, not by destroying it, but by reshaping it. The harsh tones bent, softened, and eventually folded into the greater harmony.

“System Online” is a hypnotic electronic track rooted in minimal rave, witch house, and machine-driven dance aesthetics. Built around rigid rhythms, distorted drums, and compressed robotic vocals, the song unfolds like a malfunctioning system report from a collapsing artificial intelligence.

The lyrics function as command lines and error states, repeating cycles of failure, reboot, and brief moments of functionality. As data is erased and rewritten, meaning slowly dissolves, creating an atmosphere of tension, instability, and ritualistic repetition. The track moves between breakdowns and power surges, capturing the feeling of a machine trapped in an endless loop—alive, but never fully stable.

This track blends human songwriting with AI-assisted sound design.
All lyrics, vocal phrasing choices, and creative direction were developed by Olja Arthur.

Olja Arthur is a Czech electronic music creator based in Southern Moravia.
His musical journey began in the late 80s, when he worked as a DJ under the name Arthur, performing at village parties, dance halls, bars and night venues. Those early years shaped his love for melody, rhythm, and the shared joy of music.

Throughout his life, he worked in many fields — from aircraft maintenance and military service, to production control, web development and video creation. Yet music always stayed close, waiting for the right moment to return.

In recent years, he found a new creative spark through collaboration with AI — allowing him to transform memories, emotions, humor, imagination and personal stories into sound. His music ranges from energetic EDM, trance and electro-dance, to romantic ballads, slow intimate moods, cinematic soundscapes and reflective emotional tracks.
