Since the beginning of Cityscape Sessions with show #001, all the way through this month's #206, Blake Sutherland has served as the show's the musical director, if you will. His sound has evolved, which can clearly be heard by listening to the early mixes, but the ethos of Cityscape Sessions has remained largely unchanged. Lush atmosphere, cutting edge grooves, and infectious melodies have always been at the centre of the show. This month's mix is, of course, no exception. I had such a great time celebrating capital pride and supporting this fundraiser for Rainbow Brick Road - an Ottawa-based private refugee sponsorship group committed to raising funds and providing multifaceted supports in resettling a LGBTQ refugee couple from the Middle East to Canada.
