I met Oren whilst playing on Skylab Radio as he has been helping out behind the scenes there. Beyond that he's been playing at various spots throughout the city, showing off a beautiful diversity of taste and impeccable dh'ing style.

This mix is a lovely blend of local sounds & abroad. A lighthearted, warm blend of house, techy notes, rolling percussion & more.

I'm happy to unveil the first episode of my new show, "Collective Memory" on @radioalhara with a first guest, the incredible @stella-zekri-ouiddir 🌹

Collective Memory embodies an artistic testament amidst humanitarian turmoil, a resounding call for Life woven intricately with melodies and frequencies, steadfast in its reminder of music's most noble duty: to unveil truth.

In homage to the foundation of this radio and to preserve purpose within this endeavor, I'm inviting those who dared to raise their voices and unite to scream the truth.

While some seek to detach the human from the artist, I anchor intention as the essence of this concept, therefore empowering guests to express themselves in any form they choose.

For this inaugural episode, I'm happy to invite Paris-born, Berlin-based (who also happens to be Algerian 🇩🇿♥️) selector, @stellasnacks whose sound perfectly reflects her being : a fearless spirit, uncovering harmony amidst diversity, seeking beauty in every moment.

As the founder of @body_language_bln and a resident DJ at Cocktail D'amore, she reigns as the queen of extended sets, a masterful storyteller capable of uniting all on the dancefloor.

OLLI KOPONEN (sometimes stylized as OLLI [KOPONEN]) is a DJ from Helsinki, Finland, known for his eclectic taste in music, which is reflected in his dynamic DJing style.
Born in Cambridge, UK, Olli spent his early childhood traveling the world. His passion for music began at a young age, fueled by hours spent watching music videos on MTV and VIVA. Later, he found inspiration in the soundtracks of skateboarding movies, which eventually led him to explore the world of dance music.

At 17, Olli started DJing after taking a DJ course at a community center in Helsinki. By 18, he was regularly attending nightclubs as a dancer, and soon his passion evolved into a career. He began organizing parties at venues in downtown Helsinki, quickly earning opportunities to perform regularly at clubs and festivals.

Olli's versatility as a DJ is one of his trademarks. He can seamlessly craft sets spanning genres like soul, disco, funk, and Italo, as well as ambient, house, electro, and techno.

Over the years, he has performed at numerous gigs across Finland and internationally. He also consistently releases mixtapes and has been featured on several radio shows. From 2021 to 2024, he was known by the alias DJ Oltermann.

In 2021, Olli co-founded the record shop OK Sound Helsinki with Kris Goodin, where he also worked. Today, he focuses on music production as part of General Electrix, a duo with Santtu XL. Their debut release is scheduled for January 2025.
