The Uel are small, grey, legless, collectively-intelligent creatures of the moon Tkoru. Making music is how they communicate and co-ordinate. Thousands of them sing as they flow over one another, intertwining their melodies and themselves, building upon each other to imitate the virtual visiting human forms in front of them.

The Uel

The gravity engine blocks gravito-entanglements from every direction except for one - the distant planet or star it focuses upon. Gravity is magnified in that single direction, enabling 'free' acceleration for Interstellar travel, and Faster Than Light communication.
