Sunshine (demo)

This is a short composition called Game On inspired by the likes of Timesplitters and Castle Crashers.  It's upbeat and electronic nature lends itself to an arcade-style shooter or platformer game.  I have included footage of Timesplitters 3 and Castle Crashers (Remastered) to help the listener visualise my intentions.

My dad

In response to finding out I would not be allowed to be present for the birth of my baby due to COVID-19, social distancing and living in isolation, I wrote a song for my little one, swearing not to miss another moment of his life.

My Baby

This is a song I've written about my beautiful, little Gran, Mavis Regan, who sadly passed away shortly after discovering she was going to become a great grandmother. Although her and my son narrowly missed the opportunity to meet each other, I thought it would be lovely to bind the two together with a song. The song explores how Gran will continue to live on through our memory of her and how those memories will be passed on, from one generation to the next. This lovely photo captures the moment she found out there was going to be an addition to the family. Although this has easily been one of the hardest songs I've ever written, I really hope it does her some form of justice.
