Debut solo EP by one half of Deep’a & Biri (Transmat / Black Crow).

Tel Aviv native Itai Biri offers up his debut EP for Counterchange with ‘Process Is Forever’. Over five bold and very different tracks we are guided through expertly balanced floor workouts, elegant hypnotism and melodic reflection. Biri’s remarkable control over the bass-end, rhythmic structures and stereo spaces in his music is proudly on display here - from the rolling energy of ‘Process Is Forever’, to the tripping tones of ‘Ursa Minor’ and beyond.

Recently relocated in Berlin, Biri’s new wave of solo productions have also found a home on Len Faki’s Figure Jams imprint, while he released on Derrick May’s Transmat with his long-term partner Deep’a. Together they run their lovingly curated Black Crow label which continues to promote a defiant strand of Detroit-indebted techno and dubbed-out electronics.

Biri - Process Is Forever [COUNTER015] preview

Volpe is a young artist from Argentina inspired by the sounds of the ‘90s, moving between genres such as Detroit, Dub, Tribal and Hypnotic Techno.
His career began at the early age of 16, in the national underground scene, which would later lead him to play in renowned venues like Under Club, Cocoliche and Bahrein, sharing gigs with Eduardo De La Calle, Tadeo, Jonas Kopp, Seph, Andres Zacco, Zreik, Dying, Vladw, Zoffoli, Dijuma and many others. 
He managed to edit several of his productions on labels such as Subsist, Fabrik Music, Detox Electronics, Solemne Records, Al3 Movement, ROOM and Concepto Hipnotico, and thanks to his continous effort he was supported by artists like Ben Sims, Slam, Dax J, Jeroen Search, Tripeo, Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, The Zenker Brothers, Pushmann, Subradeon, Francois X, Abstract Division, Nihad Tule, Jon Hester, OHM, Lag, VIL, Opuswerk, Gotshell, Blue Hour, El Choop and Thomas Hessler.
Now he is focused on his live presentations, in which he opted for the hardware format, providing an organic and powerful sound to his performance, and also playing as "Altered Memories", his project with Tomas Kunkel, in which he is resident on A-System.

Volpe es un joven artista argentino inspirado en los sonidos de los años 90, que se mueve entre géneros como Detroit, Dub, Tribal e Hypnotic Techno.
Su carrera comenzó a la temprana edad de 16 años, en la escena underground nacional, lo que más tarde lo llevaría a tocar en lugares de renombre como Under Club, Cocoliche y Bahrein, compartiendo cabina con Eduardo De La Calle, Tadeo, Jonas Kopp, Seph, Andres. Zacco, Zreik, Dying, Vladw, Zoffoli, Dijuma y muchos otros.

In recent years technology has had a regressive impact on human and social relationships, taking control of our way of thinking and communicating with people.

Between transmission and interpretation can be generated what are called "communication difficulties".
It happens that, through communication, we don't exactly transmit our thought but a synthesis of it and so we using the message.
The ways of transmitting the message are essential for transmission and understanding and these procedures have rapidly changed several times, in very short times, in very broad ways, further new and rapid changes are happening, and others are coming.
