Snow filled land ´neath skies of grey,
Hid from sight paths below the white.
Cold wires sway hang in the air.
Pure, vain prayer starving itself.
Snowman stop & think:
It´s a child that rolls your head up
& you take revenge
Rolling up a bigger one than him.
Your eyes above the ball.
When the angle froze.

Roof on a house. walks to the door.
Shapes in the shadows that haven´t moved in years.
Hallway a dark road at night
& at the end of it, a still breath is heared
In the sitting dark
Staring a statue colored dog
& behind him a box
With frozen sides.

Tierra cubierta de nieve bajo un cielo gris,
caminos escondidos en el blanco.
Cables fríos se balancean & cuelgan en el aire.
Pura, vana oración. Ella sola muriéndose de hambre. 

El Hombre de Nieve se detiene & piensa:
un niño hace rodar tu cabeza
& tú te vengas
haciendo una bola más grande que él mismo.
Tus ojos sobrevuelan la bola.
En ese preciso momento el ángulo se congela.
 
El tejado de una casa. Caminar hacia la puerta.
Figuras en las sombras detenidas durante años.
El pasillo como una carretera oscura en la noche
al concluir se oye una respiración inmóvil
en la oscuridad asentada.
Mirando fijamente un perro del color de las estatuas, 
tras él, una caja
con los lados congelados.

Chevelle- Don't Fake This cover

This is my take on one of my favorite albums of all time : The Black Keys' Magic Potion. Their third record but first to be released on Nonesuch Records, Magic Potion, was released in September 2006 I got discover the band through the Festival d'été de Québec in 2011, while touring their 5th album Brothers, and their songs performed as a duet completely floored me...and got me back on stage after a 25 year hiatus...
