Romanian platform @playedby celebrates 10 years of activity in the electronic music scene with an amazing Various Artists compilation which includes 20 notable tracks from renowned local and international producers. This special edition release arrives in a 6×12" Vinyl-Only Box Set in a limited number of copies.

Here, @cezar-lazar opens the compilation with “Nkv2”, a cerebral and twisted stripped-down groove powered by crisp percussion patterns, a prominent bassline and grungy textures that intertwine with heavily modulated vocal samples and lush breakdowns, best fitted for dimly lit dancefloors.

We really had such a wonderful time on 24th Aug 2025 when we were testing the headphone set-up for the MLD goes silent sessions, what turned out as a first edition of Elektrik Café Berlin, together with our collaborator Gijs Gruijters, playing a wonderful modular set under his artist moniker SHIFTY, together with He Ling and Bian Bian from China and also a set from Sai, what you can listen here now 

Everything was glued together smoothly and the sound with the bluetooth connection is really great! The whole concept builds a wonderful atmosphere with the gloomy headphones while sitting inside, diving into the music and the venue, also with video art installations... or sitting outside in fresh air, watching people passing by and inviting them to join. A big thanks also to Krumm & Schief Café at Prenzl Berg, who lent us their nice venue as the perfect location for this project. On the streets of Berlin, it’s easy to spot people who know their electronic music. You’ll see curious partygoers as well as picky listeners whose appreciation isn’t easy to win. Tonight, both crowds are heading to the presentation of Daniel Gardner’s record. A cult album that was revived thanks to a fresh concept and a remaster. By evening, Jonny Knüppel was packed. Among the guests — a flamboyant duo that couldn’t go unnoticed. Some swayed to rhythms that felt like old friends, while others — luckier ones, perhaps — were discovering an entire world for the first time. As they approached the booth, Plate leaned in with a warm smile:
