This is a fan narration of Augustus Waters’s letter to Peter Van Houten. I found it on Tumblr (www.tumblr.com) months ago. I got the album art on We Heart It (www.weheartit.com). I do not own anything. I uploaded this for the purpose of leaving a scar, the way Augustus did to Hazel Grace.

The Fault in Our Stars is the fourth solo novel by author John Green, published in January 2012. The story is narrated by a sixteen-year-old cancer patient named Hazel, who is forced by her parents to attend a support group, where she subsequently meets and falls in love with the seventeen-year-old Augustus Waters, an ex-basketball player and amputee. This is Chapter 1, enjoy. :)

The Fault in our Stars, by the brilliant John Green, is one of my favorite books of all time. In fact, I was so moved by it that I decided that I wanted to try reading a bit from it as if I were Hazel Grace. It's sort of like my shot at voice acting, I guess. This is my first time doing something like this, but it was really fun, and I think I'll be doing more, although not necessarily from this book. This passage was completely written by John Green, the only thing that is mine is my voice! If you haven't read The Fault in our Stars yet, go read it! You will not be disappointed.
