After a busy start to 2014 with 'Reckless Ardor' still riding high in the top 10 of the Beatport Deep House Chart and a massive remix of Calippo's 'Back There', EDX is back with his follow up 'Cool You Off' released through - on 7th April 2014. 

Exploring different genres within the electronic music landscape for 'Cool You Off', EDX creates an uplifting melody and funky drum beat with soft vocal samples, that's as infectious as it is cool. Quickie from us: "The Thing about Foxes is we Love her... Her vocals are beautiful and effortless and carry such a nice emotional sense of gravity. Its why we think her vocals always do so well with dance music. Holding onto Heaven was definitely a fun challenge for us to remix. The original is very far from a dance track and we wanted to think out of the box and do something unusual with the vocal. Additionally there were so many cinematic parts to the song to use particularly the string. In our remix you will here some vocal transposing that we think adds this very strange but unique edge that cuts through. That paired with our melody and the strong we think we came out with a very dynamic song thats in a constant flux of feeling."

First off, I have to say that it was a treat to work with Sarah Hudson on "Reality." I've been a fan of her work for years, so I took it seriously, and I made a deliberate effort to create a song that feels as dynamic as possible. My hope is that people will appreciate the peaks and valleys that I tried to interject throughout the track. Ultimately, I wanted to create something that was melodic, heavy and uplifting at its core. I hope all of that comes across to the listeners. Much love to everyone for the support.
