Pre-rave jitters had set in; her stomach was doing somersaults and her legs felt like jelly. These feelings were fuelled by excitement and anticipation, but she still had no idea what to expect of the evening, it was all completely new to her. Friends had told her about the wonders of these underground parties but she really had to see it for herself, at the moment it felt like an imaginary utopia, a place too perfect to actually exist...

Swedish producers Viktor and Henrik are the minds behind Elfenberg. Having released music on the likes of Bordello A Parigi, Wrong Era, Trampoliner and Rotten City Records, to name a few, the pair now take their creations to Barcelona's Playground Records for A Cow Called Belle. Harking back to the rave and acid house sounds of the early 90s, the three original cuts marry rolling grooves and squelchy, driving synth lines, which are pushed further into trance-inducing territory by Iñigo Vontier and Juan MacLean who take care of the remixes.

From one street to the next, everything looked the same. The street lamps, paving stones and house fronts - each identical, there were no signs or individualities that set each one apart. He found himself walking in circles, tracing the exact steps he'd walked not an hour earlier. He knew his destination but the path to reaching it seemed unfathomable; he was lost and unsure whether he would ever be found. 

It's no secret we're big fans of Anatolian Weapons. The Athens-based producer has mastered the art of crafting hypnotic machine-led productions that blend elements of EBM and kraut with polyrhythms and whispers of Greek folkloric music. His discography is ever-growing, so far he can count the likes of Lurid Music, Byrd Out, Serenades and our newest sub-label, Human Endeavour, as label affiliates, and now he's extending that further with a four-track EP for London-based platform People & Places. Having built a reputation for their podcast series and Balamii radio show, they're now branching out into the label world with this debut release, which is a potent, hypnotic batch of trance-tinged techno cuts.

Belgian iconic label https://soundcloud.com/usaimportmusic gets relaunch. First release: REISSUE by HARDCORE producer Liza N’ Eliaz.

Nicknamed “The Queen of Terror”, Liza N’ Eliaz was a well respected DJ, producer and label owner born in Ostend in 1958 and sadly passed away in Antwerp in 2001.

Growing up in a family of musicians, she studied classical music and learned to play the piano four hands with her grandfather, a conductor at the local municipal orchestra. Later she discovered the synthesizer and cassette recorder and joined new wave and industrial bands in the recording studio and on tour. During a concert in France in 1985 she met Yvette Neliaz, who became her companion, muse and partner and whose surname inspired her pseudonym. Liza was added as a reference to the byname given to transsexuals in Flanders.

In Amsterdam the couple became enthralled with the burgeoning acid house, new beat and techno scene centered around the club Roxy. Soon Liza N’ Eliaz started to make a name for herself, among others in the Parisian underground scene and as a regular guest at French Radio FG. As a DJ she mastered an incredible technique simultaneously mixing on three or four turntables. As a music producer she had an impeccable ear for sound, pushing up the pace to staggering heights and as a result taking part in changing the rules of electronic dance music in a new and booming global scene in the mid nineties: hardcore and speedcore.

Liza N’ Eliaz was a prolific producer working solo and with artists such as DJ Dano, Laurent Hô and The Prophet, releasing on labels such as Atom, Mokum and Bonzai. In 1997 she founded her own label in collaboration with USA Import Records dubbed Provision Records.

USA Import Records is proud to present the reissue of Initial Gain, the EP previously released on its sublabel Atom Records in 1992, the second in the Molecules of Music series. Adding two new interpretations by Toulouse Low Trax to three original tracks, a nothing else but logical connection is set between Liza N’ Eliaz’ early work and today’s genre bending electronic music scene.

For the record: Liza N’ Eliaz didn’t like her nickname “the queen of terror”. She didn’t intend on terrorizing anyone, commented Yvette Neliaz after her unfortunate passing away.

We are thrilled to introduce John Patter to the label. The Vilnius-based DJ / producer brings forth three original tracks, each offering a unique sonic journey into leftfield territory.

Opening the EP is 'The Risk,' a captivating blend of beautiful melodies and a heavy bassline, tailor-made for a peak-time frenzy. Following suit is the title track, 'Uneven Accents,' a breakbeat-driven monster that keeps listeners on their toes with every twist and turn. Rounding off the originals is 'In Front of the Eyes,' a track that slows down the tempo and ventures into deeper, chuggier territories.

In addition to these originals, label head Facets makes a triumphant return with a remix of 'The Risk,' injecting the track with heightened tempo and energy.

'Uneven Accents' is set to be released on May 3rd

Deux control’s sound is a mix your favourite soundtracks of electronic music with a large portion of body synth. It is sexy, cool, and a bit frightening.
