Small Great Things proudly presents its latest release, SGT009—a meticulously curated selection of deep house grooves featuring a lineup of exceptional talent. Available on both vinyl and digital platforms, this release showcases a diverse range of deep, soulful, and groove-driven tracks designed to captivate any dance floor.

Opening the release on A1 is Luca Olivotto with "Let Me Go," a track that sets the tone with its rich, melodic layers and piano chords.
Olivotto’s masterful production effortlessly blends emotion and groove, making it an essential opener for this compilation.

Following up on A2 is Quadrakey's "Do It Right," a track that encapsulates the essence of deep house. With tight percussion, smooth basslines, and an irresistible groove, this track demands attention and will undoubtedly resonate with both DJs and listeners alike.

The B-side kicks off with a deep vocal cut from resident duo Nephews titled "Between Your Soul." This track takes listeners on a soulful journey, combining warm pads, driving basslines, and emotive vocals to create an immersive listening experience.

PREMIERE: Nephews - Between Your Soul [Small Great Things]

Mike and Danny Parton recently launched this label with a superb first EP that laid out a fantastic sonic vision. It is
where they will showcase their love of artful sampling and passion for crafting celebratory sounds. They have been
doing so for years while drawing on '90s house, French touch, disco and funk across a series of classy outings on
plenty of top European labels, and this is another fresh modern take on all that history.
Danny gets things underway with 'Orange Juice', a thumping and peak time house slammer that washes over you as
a potent wall of sound made from swirling vocals, sharp percussive details and textured chords that demand hand go
skyward. 'Hotspot' has more funk in its lines, with loopy drums and horn stabs blasting out over a freewheeling bass
loop. Smart filters keep things dynamic, and more impassioned vocal cries and stabs mean the track brims with
energy.
Mike then steps up with an equally brilliant brace, starting with 'Don't Look My Name', which taps into '90s US vibes
and the steamy, loopy intensity of legends like Armin Van Helden. The drums are bold, the synths are loud in the mix,
and the vocal samples bring just enough human heat to set things off. Last but not least, 'Free As A Bird' is an
emotional banger with heart-tugging vocal hooks and punchy house funk finished in style with bass twangs and big
strings. Glorious stuff.

Bruno is a sound engineer and music producer born and raised in Ibiza. The vinyl collector has a rich musical background and has made great strides in his production in recent times, now launching his professional career in 2020.

His two-track release Connection is filled with blistering house music, deep paternas and magical vocals from the beautiful Joanna Kern.
