this is the song i submitted for Infloresce's 2024 Snowdrop Festival! it was originally a one hour composition from battleofthebits but after making it i was like "yeah i have got to finish this and submit it to this year's snowdrop" haha.

i was inspired by pat metheny group, ZUNTATA - AQUARIUM (HAISHIMA ARRANGE), and D'angelo's 'Untitled (How Does it Feel)' (there is more but it would be kind of long)

for instruments...i used c700, roland jv1080, muntvsti, and syxg50  for the vst's. i used chrono trigger marimba and strings, a snes guitar sample from ultimate guitar soundfont, kirby dreamland 3 triangle wave sample, and supermario rpg accordion. for the jv1080 i just used an ep patch with edited attack and layered it on the triangle wave. i used roland mt32 fretless bass. i'm not sure what to call it but the resonant glassy swell sound was from XGmidi's crystal patch. i grabbed random drum samples and put them in c700 for snesecho

im not too proficient when it comes to stuff like this, I really just wanted to use the harmonica LOL
I wanna try to aim for more interesting harmony in the future for sure 
I also want to do some 80s fusion stuff or something, I love that sound
