With ‘Distortion’, Ralf Kobernuss delivers sepulchral Techno Noir with a thundering Industrial substructure alongside a bright and snappy reimagination by Rancido for DESSERT029.

‘Distortion unfolds oceans of darkly phasing pads, washed-out vocal chants, and hypnotizing saw-wave sweeps that surge across a corrugated rumble of drums. Ralf Kobernuss’ morphing themes open up a shuddering witching hour of mesmeric synth work and punishing low-end for late nights and early mornings.

Rancido contrasts the oozing darkness with an anthemic synth hook, searing stabs, and brightly pulsating percussive salvos. 
Cascading arpeggios cut through the original’s spaced- out pads, transforming ‘Distorsion’ into a razor-sharp floor-focused groover.

‘Distortion fuses powerfully anesthetic soundscapes with pounding subs and analog drums, bringing a hypnotic brand of left-field techno to the dancefloor with punishing intensity.
