Jarren Benton was born in Decatur, GA (east side of Atlanta). He grew up without a father figure in the home and hip-hop quickly became like a second parent. He first discovered his love for hip hop at age 6.

While other kids were pissing their beds, Jarren would stay up past midnight to record “The Fresh Party,” a local Atlanta hip-hop radio show. Inspired by the show, Jarren began to write his own rhymes, and by age 10 he was a premature “beast” on the mic. Jarren became obsessed with rapping, and music, and dropped out of high school to pursue a musical career.

After turning his focus to hip-hop, Jarrren spent all of his time on his craft. Soon he began producing tracks, and writing, for other artists throughout Atlanta. He also worked on developing one of the best live shows in Atlanta, something he felt many artists lacked.

His live shows have caught the attention of many local media, promoters and industry heads. He has performed at the BMI Showcase, Southeastern Music Conference, Atlantis Music Festival, A3C Hip-Hop Festival and has opened for artists from KRS-ONE to Lil’ Wayne. Jarren has also collaborated on records with an wide array of amazing artists like: 2 Chains, Erick Sermon, Freeway, Bubba Sparxxx, Gangsta Boo, Kid Daytona, Verse Simmons, Kaleena, Rittz, Jon Connor, Laws, Aleon Craft and many more.

Jarren possess sick humorous punch lines and heart felt tales of personal struggle. “I want to give people quality down south music, something the south has been missing since Outkast,” says Jarren. He gives you a balance of hardcore, playful and conscious rap music that seldom exists in today’s hip-hop.

Ekorce is about telling stories with organic sounds, hypnotic melodies, broken rhythms and deep sub basses. This psychedelic downtempo project is led by the french producer Kyrian Nicolay-Kritter. He commenced piano at the age of 6 and drums at the age of 11. Interested in all kinds of music, he first made electronic music in high school. Whilst at university studying neurosciences he continued making music and produced a few tracks. Inspired by psychedelic music for many years, he launched the project Ekorce in 2015 and developed his sound years after years. From 2018 to 2020 he released an EP and an album on the international records Merkaba Music. At the end of 2020 he joined the international downtempo collective Shanti Planti and released his EP “Imago” which has been elected best EP of 2020 by Psybient.org community. Alongside his music journey, he completed a PhD in Neurosciences in early 2021 and then he fully focused on his next album “Latibule” for almost a year before releasing it in early 2022.

Harmoniously melding human & earthly energies, symmetree holds a mirror up to natural geometry reflecting back our shared dopeness and wonder. Beautiful organic soundscapes mixed with thunderously unapologetic west-coast bravado.  Symmetree is the glimpses of higher order whilst lost in the forest and the mind.   The harmony between inner and outer worlds , between humanity and nature between beauty and bass.
