Here is the fourth episode of our most SciFi series: Close Encounters. This time the encounter is between 4 artists who contribute to it with hypnotic, textural and deliciously repetitive tracks. Always with a futuristic discourse and under an ‘Orwellian’ concept that today more than ever is tangible in our society.

Modular synthesis sound in tracks such as those of Pedro Pina or Kalter Ende are complemented and combined with Irazu's percussive poly-rhythms and the synthetic minimalism of the Omnia Vox sequences.

The founder of Slovenia’s Sigma5 contributes a striking track to the label’s first vinyl release - a great v/a which also includes contributions from Roger Semsroth - Sleeparchive, and the great Simone Scardino - CONCEPTUAL who made this track under name Beat Movement. Sigma5 was founded in 2017 by Alojz Gostenčnik (Omnia Vox) and now imanaged together with Sandi Galic - Mind Machines. Today we are thrilled to host “Dervit777”, a hypnotic, psychological work that slithers beneath the surface and leaves a long lasting impression.

The lack of contact, even between humans, has become in recent days a truly demanding norm. Far away from sitting and waiting for better days to come, Close Encounters as a sub label has always been 30D’s way to gather artists aiming to explore the wider techno spectrum, combining freedom, rhythm and each artist’s particular vision of their sound. We’re now sharing with you the results of the Sixth Encounter, to be released the forthcoming 26th February 2021.
