Martian Chronics - Voyager

Long time collaborators Eschaton & Parallel team back up for a 4 track EP of mind bending beats. Starting with the tranquil opener 'Infra:Spatial', they tame the monstrous amen track 'Hyperspatial' from their PM:AM LP and sprinkle it with rolling beats and gentle pads to let the ambient guitar licks bask in the limelight. The EP continues with the groove-laden 'Calm Resolve' that reverberates with washes of atmospheric soul before they change direction with the sci-fi themed 'A View from the Moon. The EP finishes with the devastating and dark sounds of 'Sleep Paralysis' where nightmarish analogue synths battle with frenetic Apache edits to create a bewildering and epic closer to this new chapter of theirs.

The final part in the 'Controlled...' trilogy draws this introspective series to a close with four tracks from a variety of a label regulars and newcomers.

The EP opens with TRC2's deep and rolling 'Distinctive Signals', before ErBass contributes the dark stepper 'Cough'. Gred Lvov's 'Lotus' demonstrates intricate drum choppage alongside its speaker shaking bassline, before NonRev brings the EP and series to a close with the driving rhythms of 'Know Your Place'.
