Opius returns to Omni Music with 4 orchestral-inspired journeys into expertly crafted drumfunk. The title track sets the tone with exquisite violins that hide the breakbeat madness to follow before both worlds collide back together to create an epic symbiosis. Rain rolls along serenely with lush vocal drops and cascading drums to offer another enchanting drumfunk fairy tale. Emotion brings back the strings and pads with evocative spoken word samples and stuttering drums that thunder through the speakers before Mercury brings this new EP to a close with a gentle combination of soothing pads and criss-crossing drum patterns. Opius continues to stay on fine form constantly evolving the idea of what drumfunk is and we can't wait to hear his next evolutionary tales.

Omni Music welcomes back Trident for his first full length LP. This is a beautiful selection of deep atmospheric Artcore Jungle. The opener Psychosis starts the proceedings with intricate melodics, driving rhythms and dreamy synths. Utopia changes the vibe with deep dub inspired keys while tight drums create the driving momentum. He continues the versatile journey with the dreamy Empyrean Sequence before dropping the tempo with the dub-infused world of Nature of Consciousness. The beats come straight back into focus again for the rest of the LP from Northern Lights' dreamy melodics, the fluttering arpeggios of Express Yourself, all the way through to the closing piano-led and reflective journey of Autumn Leaves. This is a fine debut LP that shows his skill and dexterity as well as his variety, and Omni Music are eager to hear more.

'Solstice' is up next with more chopped rhythms, deep sub, serene keys and soaring pads before this stunning EP ends on 'Vacuum Energy' where the groove intensifies with crisp beat edits, floating pads and sparkling melodies.
