absent x omniscuro - not a hymn

AxO is a collaboration between Jesse Perlstein, Daniel Sparks & Erick Eiser, finding the space between ambient experimentation and dark industrial techno. The intersection of field recordings, drum machines, modular synth, looping vocals and noise has created a gestalt genre of ambient lo-fi dance music, providing structure to improvisation, like a dance party in the dusty stacks of The Strand.

Jesse Perlstein is a musician/sound artist from New York, focusing mostly on sound design concerning field recording, vocal harmonizations and digital manipulations. His main attention is to memory and how it is the confluence of reality and fantasy. You can hear most of his work as a member of Sontag Shogun.

Member of Peter International Airport with collaboration credits on 2nd album release, Safer With The Wolves... (2017) and integral in live performances. Working much closer with Peter Holmström (The Dandy Warhols) on 3rd album in progress.
