this was the first run through some ideas for the varispeed show.    hats off to Ash Schemo and the varispeed crew for providing an eclectic night in an intimate venue. was reminiscent of the early days when there were so many more independent spaces supporting underground artists. venue was rammed with a great mix of people , under one roof and bouncing off the walls. loved every second and hope to come back soon

For the fourth year running, Disciples Of Distortion brings together a global roster of artists bound by their devotion to distortion, chaos, and raw power. More than just a release, this compilation is a ritual, a yearly gathering where the underground unites to unleash a torrent of basslines, precision drums, and twisted atmospheres.
Since 2020, Stonx Music has grown from a small label into a global community, pushing the boundaries of neurofunk and heavy drum & bass. Volume 4 continues this legacy, showcasing a carefully curated blend of rising talent and established names, all with one mission: to distort, disrupt, and destroy.

This year’s edition delivers 13 crushing tracks, with returning heavyweights and fresh faces contributing their most devastating work yet. From the chaotic ferocity of Anizo’s “Near Deaf”, to the mechanical grit of Direct Shift’s “Mutants”, the industrial savagery of FauxRealz, Noisesmith & Dark Adaptation’s “Horrid”, and the relentless energy of Wintour’s “Turbulence”, every track is crafted to test the limits of sound systems and stamina alike.

Also featured are dark, atmospheric cuts from Dialective, Korax, and Stonx, Hkay & Sindicate, alongside the boundary-pushing intensity of Protoss, Skorpion, and Pish Posh.
