Ом – вибрация состояния абсолютного покоя. 
Любая мантра начинается с “Ом”. 
Сат-Чит-Ананда – 
1) существование, пробужденность. 
Надо испытать опыт существования. 
2) Знание, ниргуна. Опыт без качеств существования. 
“Чит” – это качество разума Вселенной 
3) Блаженство – это природа видения, радости. 
Коллективный разум состоит из этих трех аспектов. 
Парабрамха – это тот же коллективный разум, но более мудрый и 
высокий процесс, чем Брамха. 
Это мудрец, ишвара – спонтанно растущий феномен. 
Пурушоттама – коллективный разум как друг, как некое существо. 
Это внешнее существо. 
Параматма – коллективный разум, который проявляется в вашем 
сердце, с вашим высшим “Я”. 
Это существо, которое взаимозависимо возникает перед нами в 
той форме великих существ (звезда, океан, свет и т.д.), которую 
мы сами выбираем. 
Шри – приставка к имени, означающая великое почтение Духовному 
Учителю с качествами божественной природы. 
Бхагавати – божественная супруга Бхагавана. 
Самета – “вместе с…” 
Бхагавате – Бхагаван, всевышний. 
Намаха – преклоняюсь, поклоняюсь.

This track was recorded in Toronto and later finished in Saskatoon. It is featured in the independent feature film, Nice2MeetU, written and directed by Naveen Medaram, for which I scored the music. I love the sitar in this track. It is interesting that I hear the pathos in the notes as beautiful and soft and yet it was used in a very intense scene in the movie (I won't spoil it for you). The contrast of the beautiful music with the onscreen intensity created a tension and juxtaposition of two opposite worlds that worked very well in the film.

I also really love the sense of space and breath in this mix. The sitar was recorded in one take, with no editing. The sensual bending of the sitar notes is very expressive of the passion inherent in the piece. Enjoy!

The Way She Moves

"Water (Adam's Song)," penned by friend and collaborator Adam Collett (<a href="http://adamcollett.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">adamcollett.com</a>), is grounded in the harmonium-didge drone while the flute explores the sonic realm above. Collett’s original melody emerged from a deep meditation and we intended to keep its original focus while spicing it with some new flavor.
