Mayumi Inland is an aesthetically beautiful ambient record. &nbsp;From start to finish (and maybe with some meditation) you will feel propelled into a world all its own; somewhere&nbsp;between the dystopian future of Blade Runner and the&nbsp;primitive&nbsp;opening to 2001: A Space Odyssey. &nbsp;Again we are looking at a genre that is far to overdone within the realm of self release because of its&nbsp;perceived&nbsp;simplicity, but rest assured, there is nothing simple about Omogramma.

Karoline “Karolinski” Hegrenes is making deep impressions in the Scandinavian music firmament with sounds that channel dubby echoes from Norwegian forests through modern techno rhythms. Ever since releasing her debut album in 2018 through her own label; FJORDFJELLOGDALER - she has been a restless figure that has taken the form of producer, label owner, DJ and live performer, and has transported her and her music from a rural Norway hamlet just outside of Bergen to Oslo and into Europe.

She is a resident at Jaeger Oslo, where she also recently played LIVE for Boiler Room.

Vacant Shores are vocalist AJ 'Sid' Sidford, Suzy Alderton and programmer Jon Elliott.

With a catchy, soothing sound and an imaginative and whimsical style, Vanchy drives listeners into poetic worlds with sounds that are hard to ignore and forget. He creates music that evolves and tells stories that are uplifting, deep and meaningful. In his words, "For me, music is not just a nice sounding beat. There must be a story, even if it doesn't have lyrics, and a tone and accent that set the drive and emphasis of the music. My goal is to create sounds that engage people in clear and conscious states. Consciousness, progressiveness and awareness are very important words for me and are always part of my music.”

His writing process always starts with an image and a story. In his words, "My music creative process is very visual. Without an image or personal experience, it is impossible for me to sculpt my sound vision. I could storyboard a film right now for all my songs and know exactly where each visual falls. I'm also a visual designer and photographer and my ideas always go along with my music. Just like water and air, it is hard for me to imagine the world without these two elements. My life is like a motion picture that always comes with a soundtrack." 


His music influence comes from diverse music styles: 

William Orbit, Ulrich Schnauss, Moderat, Röyksopp, Delerium, Massive Attack, John Digweed, Erik Satie, Claude Debussy, Stravinsky, Orbital, The Orb, Eat Static, Tangerine Dream, Talk-Talk, Depeche Mode, New Order, and too many others to mention. 

Vanchy is currently working on his upcoming EP, with plans to release it in September 2011.
