I've fused my field recordings taken in Thailand of cicadas in the Khao Sok rainforest, beach parties on Koh Phangan and ice-cream machines at a market in Chiang Mai into the driving drums of Burland's Untitled 140 featuring Ghanaian percussionist, Zongo Abongo.

Celebrating the original's molecule-energizing rhythms, I've kept the cowbells, dun duns, and talking drums in the spotlight and rolled out a sub-shaking, undulating bassline for them to dance with.

The original has been supported by the likes of Madam X on Radio 1 and it's been awesome to see my remix being dropped by Sicaria, Martha and more on platforms like the HÖR Berlin London Takeover and NTS.
