Existem várias versões dessa música pela própria banda. Nos anos 80, Steven gravou uma versão, e entre os anos 90 e 91, Matt Sorum a regravou, pois faria parte dos UYI. Existe também uma versão instrumental da metade so do final dos Anos 80. Mesmo com Ain't Going Down nunca sendo lançada em nenhum disco, a música foi usada na máquina de Pinball do GN'R, que o próprio Slash ajudou a desenvolver.
Ain't Going Down foi tocada pelo menos uma vez em 1985.
