After the success of ‘A Is For Acid’ Perc Trax Ltd continues with the first ever collaboration between the London brutalist dream team of label boss Perc and regular Perc Trax artist Truss (R&S, Avian, OCS) for an EP of no-bullshit, hardware based techno. 

Three tracks, each recorded fully live in one take. No second attempts, no re-edits and no processing of the tracks after they were recorded. Add mastering by Matt Colton and you have one of Perc Trax's rawest releases so date. 

As with A Is For Acid the first pressing of this 12” will be on clear vinyl with a full colour double-sided artwork insert by Jonny Costello, who also created the artwork for Perc’s ‘Wicker & Steel’ and ‘Labour Division’ by Forward Strategy Group.

Over the course of their first three releases the music arm of the On and On artist agency has gathered fantastic support from many of the techno elite. This big name backing has come solely because of the quality of the music, as it should.

004 continues in much the same mould with a label debut from Ukrainian artist Yan Cook. With a signature sound of haunting atmospheres and pounding baselines, Yan's techno is not for the faint of heart and both Mill and Berg, his originals here, tread a similar, unrelenting path.

On the first of the remixes On Records have drafted in Berlin based producer Unbalance. Taking things deeper the talented Russian creates a strong, raw and hypnotic groove that rides throughout. Label boss Jeff Rushin once again teams up with studio partner Nicole Rosie on the second of the remixes and plunges us further still into the murky techno depths. Warm, minimal and soothing stuff from duo.

techno tracks. The A1 effort ''Cubism'' opens up this slice of black gold with dubby chords and uneasy
machine sounds that float over the warm and pumping kickdrum that intensly serves as the backbone of this journey.
After this ''RRR" kicks in as the perfect follow up to ''Cubism''. Where the latter thrives on deep atmospheres
Yan Cook changes up the sound for ''RRR"' and cleverly heads for a more rugged touch with the use of immense distortion
and unusual synthesis. For the B side the Ukranian stalwart shows us some psychotic synth action on the afterhour
anthem ''Spotlight'' and takes one on a repetitive journey with the closing down effort called ''The Edge''.

Paul Ritch is back on Drumcode with his astounding new single ‘Brainwash’. Perfectly capturing the energetic, driving techno sound that Paul is capable of, ‘Brainwash’ delivers something that really engrains into the memory and leaves the dancefloor filled with vitality. On the flip side, ‘Inside Me’ is a heavily percussive rolling track that uses interesting synth hooks and stabs to create a rocking groove that creates vigour and depth that Paul’s techno represents.
