The next mix in our series comes from one of our favourite under-the-radar selectors in the UK, @joesansom. We first became aware of Joe after he wowed us with amazing sets at Cosmic Roots and Wire, as well as from the gems he regularly uploads to his Youtube channel.

This mix shows the scope and depth of his taste, exemplifying everything we love at On Ro - forward thinking but rooted in the past, showcasing long-forgotten tracks alongside the newest releases without anything sounding out of place.

With a taste and maturity in sound far beyond his years and a real ear for psychedelic groovy sounds, Joe is definitely one to keep an eye on!

De Salgueiro, sertão de Pernambuco, vivendo em São Paulo, Henrique Lucas com seu projeto Elsi, constrói narrativas através de referencias de clássicos dos anos 80 e 90, influenciado fortemente desde o seu primeiro contato com a música eletrônica. Autodidata, aos 10 anos de idade, já gravava música da radio, com fita cassete e manipulava softwares.


Elsi iniciou sua carreira profissional em Recife PE aos 18 anos, onde tocou em festas e clubes como a Drunk Upon a Time, Moeda eletrônica, Callidus, Vapor 48, depois, mudou para São Paulo, e por lá, tocou no Vigilante, Bar do Netão, Casa Abe, Auê, Âmago, Gaspar, em festas como Sangra Muta, Gurlz, KUENDA, Coriza, ENXAME, Passeando pelos estilos Disco, House e Techno. Dj Residente na Úmida, GURLZ, After DC, e PISTA, vive em constante pesquisa. No seu case, tracks com brincadeiras espaciais e ácidas, construindo sets com história de molejo mental, swing e gostosuras.
