Ilan Volkov — conductor and musician. Served as principal conductor of the Scottish BBC Orchestra and the Iceland Symphony Orchestra. Founder and artistic director of the Tectonics Festival, a world-renowned platform for new and experimental music that takes place every year in Glasgow, Athens and Tel Aviv and has previously also taken place in Reykjavik, New York and Melbourne.

Ohad Fishof – An artist who works in the fields of sound, dance, performance and visual art. Began his artistic path in the 1980s with the band נושאי המגבעת and has since developed a unique body of work of time-based idiosyncratic art, in a sequence that includes stabilizers, musical works, video works, place-dependent performances and dance works.

this sound is my first (well, second or third) exploration of the error instruments sonic lullaby eurorack module which basically places a music box and a contact mic on a module. it's absolutely beautiful and so much fun. not just the bell sounds of the music box, but all of the mechanical noises and squeaks as well.

this modular patch is quite simple:

sonic lullaby > make noise moraphagene > three sisters filter > intellijel rainmaker

there's a bit of bricasti M7 reverb on the end

Beige is the true color of melancholy is a multi-channel installation presented on Re.Sound a two day event in Huddersfield, UK on May 2018. The piece points out to the importance of the culinary culture in the establishment of immigrant cultures in Northern England over the past two centuries. The piece was produced with sounds recorded in the kitchen of Thai traditional cook Lag in Huddersfield, interviews made to second generation immigrants, and archive material that presents the role of cooking in the discrimination suffered by some immigrants that moved to West Yorkshire and Greater Manchester in the 1950s and 60s.

Création de Marc Namblard issue du stage "Enregistrer le paysage, la Camargue au delà des clichés"  qui s'est tenu à Arles du 16 au 20 juin 2020. "La Camargue est pour moi un territoire exotique. Si elle me rappelle par endroits les étangs aux vastes roselières de la Lorraine, ses grands espaces salés, ses étendues d'eau qui se balancent comme la mer, ses vasières et ses rizières aux reflets quasi surnaturels me font rapidement basculer dans l'inconnu. Difficile de résister à l'envie d'arpenter ces territoires pour m'y perdre - avec quelques micros en main bien sûr..."
