Brighton based DJ & Producer @oncloudnine steps up for FABRICATION 010, bringing us a selection of his favourite beats – old and new with a mix of Instrumentals and tracks that relax the mind, finishing with one of his favourite beats, mixed with an orchestral version in memory of the great J Dilla. He’s also managed to throw in a few tracks from his ‘Team Dreebs’ collective for good measure!

Cloud 9 was born and bred in Boozetown (Brighton) and takes pride in making beats to calm the people down. He began producing in school where he gained most of his practice bunking lessons and working on beats and perfecting his craft. His inspiration stems from skateboarding, graffiti and wavey Brighton times.

Cloud 9’s earlier productions include D'Lyfa Reilly's ‘Cloud Rhyme’ EP, Jolly Jay's ‘Fresh Breeze’ EP and various tracks with up-and-coming UK MC's.

He now mainly produces as part of the Team Dreebs collective, consisting of Benaddict, Concept of Thought and producers M.Kozi, Slipz and Tonks. The collective recently released a self-titled mixtape (available at yogocop.bandcamp.com) with 10 of the 20 tracks being produced by the man himself.

Cloud 9 is a Rarekind Records resident DJ and on an average weekend you can catch him spinning that good ish across pubs and clubs in Brighton with Neil Bizzy and Tom Yum.
