I've experienced some harsh times recently. it's easy to forget the value of hardship in times like those.
the awesome thing about music I find is that when I write sometimes only after the song is done is the lesson clear to me. I feel like a vessel to some supremely wise being.
YLM... live long and prosper. no matter our differences now. no matter what shit we have gone through it's all right because we shared something beautiful for as long as it lasted and few people can say that.

Wanting You

Initially I wanted to make a cover that mashes up work by Sade and Somi. 'Ginger Me' and 'Sweetest Taboo' were a wild guess that turned out to have a lot of chemistry and I got to add some twists to the rhythms and melodies whilst mashing them up. 
'Juju' by Nameless came to mind as I was playing with the Sade x Somi mash up on my guitar. Considering the three songs, 'Taboo' was an apt theme; seductive and mysterious. The last piece of the puzzle coincidentally happened as I was walking in Nairobi and thinking about the set, when 'Taboo' by Phy started playing on my shuffle playlist, et voila! The sequel to 'Theme: Nairobi' was complete.
