Capitalism, the dominant system across the globe, has undeniably brought about tremendous economic growth, technological advancement, and material prosperity. Yet, it is equally undeniable that it is creating profound suffering and destruction, deeply interwoven with its core. 

The system has been causing more harm than good for a long time now! For long enough. It has outlived its usefulness. 

But it is not that simple! The roots of the problem extend far beyond. Capitalism is not the cause of all evil, but the visible tip of the iceberg – a manifestation of a deeper, destructive direction that humanity has gone on long before. This direction involves, above all, the alienation from nature, which we ourselves are, and the destruction of nature as well as of ourselves. 

As usually, the causes delve far beneath the surface. 

Questions must be raised. Questions that are followed by answers and ultimately lead to decisive action and profound change.

Finally, from the depths of time emerges a new 1200 MICROGRAMS track, this time joining forces with those two cosmic warriors LUCAS (SUPERMODULE) and CELLI (EARTHLING), collectively known as MANDELBROT.  
In fact, ARTIFICIAL INSANITY is a track that features a particularly potent gathering of maestros.  Along with RAJA RAM, RIKTAM, LUCAS and CELLI, a surprise guest appeared in the studio to merge and lyserge... a certain Mr SIMON POSFORD (HALLUCINOGEN/SHPONGLE) who joined us on synths to provide an electronic lubricant that baffles the senses and stimulates the neurones.  
You'll even find a pinch of DOOF magic in there for good measure in the form of the classic riff from his 90's hit 'DOUBLE DRAGONS'.

We are delighted to welcome back our old friends Total Eclipse to TIP Records.  This project has a special place in our heart - their first release, the classic Waiting For A New Life, was the second ever TIP release way back in 1994.
Founding member Stephane Holweck has been the sole active member of the project since 2005.  This year however, Marios Makar Trivyzas (Plasmatix/Makar) has become an official member of the band and together with Stephane is bringing the updated alien futuristic sound of the band on stage. It's with great pleasure that TIP Records proudly presents a brand new project from Franke (Koxbox) and Jakob (Rishi) called IRIDIAN.

With the Unexpected Visitors EP, Iridian bursts into action with two dancefloor smashers, preceding their album forthcoming on TIP in Spring 2021.

Franke is a highly respected and prolific Danish producer, a true innovator and legend of the psytrance sound, a staple of the psychedelic scene.  He has created countless classics under the project names Koxbox and Saikopod, some of which were released on TIP back in the 1990s!

Jakob opened his studio and the label Virus Tekk Records in Copenhagen in 2005 and has been playing live around the world since 2007, releasing on numerous labels such as Maharetta, Planet B.E.N. and Ovnimoon.

Music has One Function – To make you feel. From the second the sound waves hit your body and soul it touches your nerves and transforms your senses. Where and how will that feeling take you in the sonic journey depends on your mood, personality and your surroundings. But it is that first contact point, that magical moment when you get hooked that sets the rest of the tune.
This One Function, the first contact point will be facilitated by Jenia Akerman from Israel. Akerman started his musical experimentation since he was 16 years old, playing in outdoor parties and quickly having the itch to make his own music. Influenced by inspirational artists such as The Delta, Cosma and Hallucinogen, Akerman decided to take his craft seriously and at the age of 19 went to BPM music School. Polishing his ideas and artistic identity, he released his first release in 2009 called Tropical Energy on Spliff Music. Exploring his abilities even further, in 2011 Jenia started his first solo project Unicode, a melodic and uplifting Progressive Trance fusion. As Unicode, Akerman released his tunes in all the big labels such as Iboga, Blue Tunes, Spin Twist, and Iono Music.
As Jenia’s project developed he decided to go back to his roots with Progressive Trance project under the alias One Function. In this project, Akerman decided to focus more on spirituality, while combining oriental vocals and old school elements, which create his own unique psychedelic interpretation. His first release as One Function – Back to My Roots EP - was released in 2015 on Iono Music and received immediate attention across the world. Supported by the biggest names in the Psytrance scene, he is conquering the global sonic sphere.
After playing in the biggest events and festivals across the globe such as Indian Spirit, Hadra, Psychedelic Circus, Summer Opening, Zurich Fascht, Esoteric, ForRest-Explosion, Solar United Native, BaliKali, and many more.
