Doppelgänger - злий двійник людини, образ, що використовується в літературі, кіно та психології. Я придаю йому трохи інший сенс - двійник є не злим, він просто інакший. Я бачу в ньому можливість жити після того, як здається що життя вже закінчилось.
Останнім часом я часто думаю про смерть та намагаюсь осягнути свою смертність. Це поняття можна сприймати як буквально, так і більш метафорично. Смерть не обов'язково має бути кінцем фізичного життя, це може бути завершенням великого етапу у житті тощо. 
Створюючи свого доппельгангера, я осмислюю останні роки свого життя як щось абсолютно нове, не таке, що було раніше. Це вже не перший подібний перехід, і, як мені здається, не останній.
