Exotic Refreshment are proud to present "Organic Session vol. 2 - Exotic Samples 070”, the continuation of the Sample Pack by Greek producer Gabieris, who is known from the releases on labels such as Cafe De Anatolia, Lump Records or Exotic Refreshment LTD. 

Sample pack is full of influences from traditional Balkan and Oriental music, with instruments like Lute (Greek traditional handmade stringed instrument) and Saz (Sazi in Greek).

You can find here also a collection of beats and ethnic percussions, various sounds of Clavinet V, groovy basslines from ARP Odyssey and from other synthesizers.

Organic Session vol. 2 provides orientalist Organic House / Afro House samples and ritual sounds inspired by major labels such as Sol Selectas, Cosmic Awakenings, Lump Records, Cafe De Anatolia, Exotic Refreshment, Pipe & Pochet etc.

•	Born on 23/12/1988, in Barcelona.

EDUCATION

•	I graduated from 'l 'Aula de Músics del Conservatori del Liceu' in 'Modern Music and Jazz' studies, a subsidiary of the 'Berklee College of Music' (2006-2009), with teachers such as Jim Kelly and Paco Salas.
•	Electric guitar (2006-2009) taught by musicians such as Miguel Pino, David Muñoz 'el Gnaposs', and Jim Kelly.
•	Attended a master class for the arrangement and 'comping' of jazz and modern music hosted by Gary Willis and TJ Helmerich.
•	Certificate in Basic Multimedia from Sae Institute (2009).
•	Diploma in Sound Engineering from Sae Institute (2009-2011).
•	Flamenco guitar (2008 - ) taught by musicians such as Paco Tejera and Manuel Granados.
•	Attended a master class and course for Traditional Plucked-string Instruments (2012) hosted by Fernando Barroso (Assembly point).
•	Attended a course in arrangements and modal music in Menorca, hosted by Efren Lopez and Miriam Encinas (2012).
•	Oud (classical Turkish Lute) and Arabic Lute, taught by Yannis Papaioanou (2011 - ).
•	Baglama (traditional Turkish Lute), taught by Efrén López (2012).


INSTRUMENTS:

•	Guitars: flamenco, classical, acoustic, 12-string acoustic, electric.
•	Traditional: Irish bouzouki, mandolin, mandola, bandurria.
•	Oriental: oud, cura, saz.

EXPERIENCE AS MUSICIAN:

•	Judith&Sonpassion (2008-2011): this group was formed around the musician Judith Arévalo, in which we played much of her music with our own blues/funk style. The group played in such venues as Razzmatazz and Luz de Gas.
•	Eclectic Symphony (2009-2010): a three-piece group in which I played guitar with a drummer and Dutch electronic musician Vincent Jonkers, who also played Hammond organ. We played one performance at Teatre Antic de Barcelona.
•	Inspired (2010-2012): an experimental rock group, which combined the music of India with hard-rock music. We played various venues across Catalunya, including sala BeCool, Ovella Negra and Razzmatazz.
•	Orquestra de Cambra Salvador Ribas (2012): I played Second Guitar in this orchestra. Concerts included a date in the l'esglesia de Santa Maria del Mar.
•	Malva de Runa (2010 - ): our music is heavily influenced by traditional Turkish and eastern music whilst remaining firmly rooted in more popular western music. We have played in numerous concerts and festivals, most notably folk music festivals such as Liorta Folk and Cerdanyola Folk.
•	Cabo Norte (2012 - ): the music of Cabo Norte fuses rock with traditional Irish and Scottish folk music.
•	Switch-Up (2012 - ): this trio plays traditional music from Ireland, Scotland and Brittany, mixed in our own inimitable way.

EXPERIENCE AS SOUND-TECHNICIAN / PRODUCER

•	Arrangement, recording and production of "Marionetas", from the Catalan group, 'Si se acuerda Cris' (2011).
•	Recording, production and mastering of the record "El món és un caos", by 'Daltra Banda' (2012).
•	Post-production of the promotional video ¨Snowgraffiti¨, recorded by Jauma Mc (2012).
•	Sound technician for Sala Salamandra from l'Hospitalet de Llobregat (2011).
•	Producer of ¨Cor i destral¨ by Malva de Runa (2013 - )

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

•	Private guitar and harmony classes (2009 - ).
•	Professor of guitar and music theory at the Centre Catòlic de Sant Vicenç dels Horts (2010-2011).
•	Electric guitar teacher at the l'Estudi de Musica Tri-tò (2011 - ).
•	Assisting Josep-Maria Ribelles in a folk music workshop in l'Estudi de Musica Tri-tò.
