Cut N Glue comes up with his very own style, stands for playful melodies, soft arpeggios warm chord progressions which he likes to combine with synthesizers and orchestral sounds, mainly in the field of DeepHouse, MelodicHouse and Techno.
The interest in his own music started in 1999 with the "game" Music2000 on the PlayStation 1.
2008 inspired by Paul Kalkbrenner and the movie Berlin Calling first successes with Ableton Live followed.
He had his first official release in 2011 on the label OneMoon Records. There followed several more releases in different genres, before further releases and remixes on other labels, including SoundKleckse Records, Black Fox Records, WhoElse Music, DeepNow Records, Damm Records, Amber Blue Recordings, Oben Musik, Catatonic Records, City Of Drums, Tächno, Ton liebt Klang were announced.
In 2023 he already looks back on 98 releases and doesn't think about stopping.
He prefers to produce his music outside the studio on his MacBook and iPad. He has always been involved in mixing and mastering and produces a lot himself.
In 2022 he released several samplepacks, templates, preset packs and co-hosted contests in cooperation with the community platform mobilemusicpro.com in America, where everything revolves around mobile music production with the iPad, and has been actively supporting it ever since.

BIO/ Discography:

Nic Bax, born in ´81 Hanau/Germany - grew up in Holland/Netherlands - then moved to the south of Germany, is a singer-songwriter-producer who loves to play with different styles and sounds. He is always looking for interesting and often unusual combinations of natural (urban), traditional and future, synthie sounds. Combine those different sounds mix it up and create something new is his focus and passion of making music.

Not only the charismatic and unique style of producing tracks with selfmade and/ or alternative instruments makes this extraordinary, it is also his deepsounding suffering voice, the little vocal parts inside that makes these songs special. Always with a thoughtful, melancholic style the songs should inspire, freemind and touch people.

His debut „Zeit“ was released in 2012 by Festival Lounge Records – now known as „dikommmusic“.

Much support (releases) over the last years came from Let Kolben... „Kommunikation Records“/ "ACHT". Nic Bax is proud being a part of it!

A new project named "Nic Bax & Erasmus" has already started in Summer 2017. The producer duo from southern germany currently working on new tracks and videos with the passion for deep & soulful house music.... watch out! So be excited whats coming next... One Love.

Angefangen hat alles mit dem Film Berlin Calling. Dieser Film, indem das Leben gezeigt wurde, was er so liebt, in Kombination mit der Musik hat genau den Nerv getroffen. Am darauf folgenden Tag hat er sich "Virtual DJ" runtergeladen und das erste mal Musik kombiniert. Kurze Zeit später kaufte er sich einen Korg Emx Drum Computer und seine ersten eigenen Songs wurden produziert und er war live in Deutschland unterwegs. Allerdings sehr hart und schnell, weit über 180 bpm. 
Mit den Jahren wurde es bei ihm etwas ruhiger und melancholischer, unter anderem wurde er beeinflusst von Künstlern wie Paul Kalkbrenner, Extrawelt und Max Cooper. Anfang 2013 bedarf es einer neuen Herausforderung und so fingen Produktionen mit  Ableton an. Seitdem folgten einige Veröffentlichungen.  Unter anderem bei Uruborus Records, LWA & Verkannt Records. 
Beim Produzieren liegt die Inspiration im Moment und man weiß nie wohin die Reise geht. Bei den Sets weiß er allerdings ganz genau wohin er will und welche Gefühle  transportiert werden sollen. Nämlich hauptsächlich melodisch, experimentell & ambivalent.
