ARCADIA (Valley Fest DJ Contest)

This is my twelfth "music therapy" session and it explores several subgenres of house music. From tech house to progressive to acid house, the different sounds complement each other throughout this vibey mix. It's great for bulldozing through work or hanging out in the sun. My goal with these sessions is to upload the mix regardless of imperfections. There may be some transitions or track selections that could have been better - but it’s live, improvised, and I hope to get way more mixes uploaded for you all this way. It’s helping me fight against my perfectionism, play around with my music library, focus on the fun, and push myself with my skills instead of playing it really safe to ensure a clean mix.

We're currently doing No Mic Mondays (recording at least a 2HR mic-less mix at the beginning of the stream) followed by Weird Wednesdays for experimenting and shenanigans. Friday was a pre-game for my residency on www.twitch.tv/bluelisttv, a channel owned by Warner Music Group, but as this week the creator season has ended and we're back to vibing on my channel all afternoon for TGIF energy!

More Than A Woman

DJ / Producer One Mindz, is part of the new generation of the Drum & Bass scene.
With presentations at parties of various styles and their productions being played by different DJs around the world, One Mindz has been conquering more and more space.

Carlos Oliveira Silva, known as Carlinhos Groove aka One Mindz, had his first contact with underground music in mid-1994, influenced by his older brother who was a DJ, and thus began his career in the world of electronic music.

In 2002 his first mixes appeared, and in that same period he had the privilege of knowing the broken rhythms of Drum & Bass, where he ended up finding his space, and ended up adopting DJ Zinc & Twisted Individual as reference DJs.

The beginning of his professional career began in 2006, when he won his first vinyl record, received directly from DJ Zinc after a stint in Brazil.

As a music producer, One Mindz signed his first work in 2017 with the Soulbass Recordings label and nowadays the DJ remains intense in production, and has already signed with the True Box Records, DNBB Records, UTM Records, M Ocean Records, Low Syndicate Audio, Dutty Audio, Holographic Audio and RAM Records.


With the intention of further highlighting his work, on December 2, 2021, the date on which One Mindz completed 4 years since he released his first track, the producer announces his own independent label, One Mindz Music.
