My Superpower Is The Ability To Fuck Up My Life...and yet keep going

Sleep; restful sleep that is disrupted  by a disorientating and somewhat disturbing dream. Only partially inspired by the poem "Intimations of Immortality" by William Wordsworth but the composition title does come from a line in the poem.
I would recommend this poem. To me I find it very moving. At the start of the poem the poet regrets the passing of a time (as a young child) when everything in nature seemed "as if apparelled in celestial light". Now he tries to and partially/fleetingly reclaims that feeling but anxiety and despair creep back. From my 21th. C atheist viewpoint his "intimations of immortality" seem quite forced and wishful thinking. The poem, however, is very moving and resonates with partially formed thoughts that it stimulates in the reader.

I recorded loud of Harazyuku while walking around Takeshita-street in Harazyuku .
Because I think this point is one of the craziest point in Japan .
I wanted to capture the unfocused desire which teenagers have .
I layered three same sound but different texture .
One is itself .
Two is itself modulated by modular synth .
Three is itself effected by effector .
( I recorded it to cassette MTR through Moog Lowpass filter , equalized on MTR , effected through delay and reverb .)
And I changed each tape speed a little , did panning .

A little Soundtrack experiment with repeating a swelling type sound while changing the settings over time. This is a very sci-fi sounding "Holding Pattern". Done with the EX 7, using filter and pitch changes performed with the assignable dials, the modulation wheels, and the ribbon controller. It's fun to use all of the tools at your disposal.
