On the threshold, liminality in seclusion. You and I
all species and all objects occupy a sound bandwidth
on a spectrogram, a voice to feel heard.
Ongoing eco-squatting and evacuation under human pressure.
Are we bypassing reciprocity, trivialising wander and mystery?
Decency has a traceable nomenclature, a legacy.

I sense your cavitation
drought, self-imposed.
Then conserve, archive.
Never forget how
insignificant we are
and yet decisive.
Unlearn and de-familiarise.
I won’t set my own frequency
below 500 hertz.

Il flotte

Cœur d'ambre lumineux
Cerclé de lave intense
Cocon de tes soupirs
Glisse à l'orée du monde

Et les mailles ondulantes caressent sa lumière
Sous le souffle léger de tes lèvres entrouvertes
Sur ton visage muet au doux regard de brume
Lentement se dessine en tracés délicats
La résille ténue de ce qui jadis fut.

Translation:
It's deep in the shadows
In the thick silence
At the center of your nights
It hatches from your dreams
Consent captive
Caught in tender fillet
Of your immense hope

It floats
In suspension

Luminous amber heart
Surrounded by intense lava
Cocoon of your sighs
Glides to the edge of the world

And the undulating meshes caress its light
Under the light breath of your parted lips
On your mute face with a soft misty gaze
Slowly takes shape in delicate lines
The thin mesh of what once was.

From the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, I would like to take this time to THANK EVERYONE for listening to, and commenting on all my tracks. Hello!, I'm David Gordon, a.k.a. OneAmbient4, composer of layered ambient, space ambient and electronic music. Since the 1970's when electronic music made its way into my life, starting with Switched On Bach, Tomita, JMJ, and others, I became very interested in electronic music. But then, the equipment was too expensive to own. So I waited.... Along came computers and later VSTi's and software. Also the Synths have dropped in price. With the help of others, here I am. My sounds were born because I was tired of (not) listening to what the media were offering, since the mid-90s, without paying any attention to the quality of the music.
I don't define myself as a musician, but a sound craftsman who, thanks to new technologies, enjoys experimenting with notes and sounds, and through SoundCloud I put myself to the test.
