If you don't know about Tantrum Desire's ability to twist and reconfigure genre limitations, you won't be prepared for what “Think About You” has to offer. A bleeps-and-pads hands-in-the-air hardcore intro drops into some triplet-time rave workout material. We're treated to mid-range grind resolving into luxuriant sweeping tones over a skippy 6/8 time-signature. But ravers and MCs better not get too comfortable, as a “Switch it up” sample signals a slam into 4/4 time. Then the breakdown cools things off ready to go back in with the madness once again. This is a dancefloor music, but not quite like you've heard before.

If you didn't know about Tantrum Desire's versatility then you should have been paying closer attention. Don't worry, though, because this EP is a perfect representation of the serpentine rule-bending contained within the sound. It's all dancefloor music, but beyond that, anything's possible.

Since storming onto the D&B music scene in early 2009, Seville based duo Dub Elements have swiftly merited a reputable and solid name for themselves from the start: With their distinctly unique sound which boasts infectious bass hooks, compulsive beats and slices & bleeps, this bass-duo quickly caught the ears of certain big names into of the scene such as Chris Renegade & Spor (aka Feed Me) who helped spread the gospel and gain support including "Vandals" in one of their massive Lifted Music Podcasts.

After appearing on various Viper compilations, along with releases on Eatbrain, C4C Recordings, Hospital Records, and more, Dub Elements now make their debut on Viper's sister label Viper VIP with two dancefloor smashers with 'Heartbeat' backed with 'Bad Guy'.

If you caught one of Technique International Sound's scorching festival appearances this summer, anticipation for this release will already be off the charts. Now, fresh from tearing events like Rampage and Audioriver to pieces, the elite production force of Drumsound & Bassline Smith and Tantrum Desire are back with some brand new fire. 

From the darkside drama of the opening pads, stretched and deformed over twisted squelches of bass and ominous metronomic percussion hits, it's clear that 'The Creator' is a monstrous tune. When huge layers of orchestral instrumentation build the epicness even further and we're drawn inexorably towards a drop that you just know is going to have ravers demanding the wheel-up.

Given who these producers are, we should all know to brace ourselves for an explosion of bass. Seriously, though, there's no acceptable level of readiness for the intense, staccato strikes of bassline that drive this tune. That raw low-end energy, punctuated with temperature-raising flecks of modulation, all held in check by the expertly-crafted rolling drums is going to see this tune dropped, doubled, and spun back in dances everywhere.

Drumsound & Bassline Smith and Tantrum Desire's last collaboration, 2018's 'The Bomb', is still lighting up raves and airwaves in the sets of A-list deejays, demonstrating a longevity that's rarely seen nowadays. 'The Creator' might be the first release under the Technique International Sound name, but the legend, the history, the pedigree is well-established. Now it's time for a new chapter.
