CD 1 showcases John`s ability to set the mood with grooving house and forward thinking techno tracks with remixes from the likes of Agoria, Martin Buttrich, Robert Babicz, Dominik Eulberg, Stephan Bodzin and Subb_an. 

CD 2 sees John shift gears with chunky beats and driving techno from Maetrik, Alljacks, Oliver Lieb, Boys Noize & Erol Alkan, Nick Curly and Guy J, among others. 

CD 3 Sees John with his A&R hat on, compiling 10 fantastic, new and unmixed tracks from Sian, Pig&Dan, Dosem and an exclusive remix of Slam`s classic Eterna remixed by John Digweed and Nick Muir. 

"I could see from the reaction to my very first record that this crowd was there to party and were totally united under the stars, creating one of the best party atmospheres I have experienced in a long while. I played for over 5 hours and really didn't want to stop, as I was having so much fun. Fortunately I recorded the set and I hope that this live CD helps to capture some of the energy from such an amazing party. "I made 'Freedom' after being stuck in the studio for over a year. Which is quite long since I'm working full time in the studio. That's why I just didn't like it anymore .... The labels where I had my releases went harder and harder then, at a certain moment, the light came to me. And I decided to go in a different direction and since then it has been super nice to be in the studio again."

Shout out to the writer's block crew. It happens to the best of us, and 'Freedom' captures that incredible moment when clarity and inspiration return. A rising sense of triumph coded deep into those strident chords, its nothing short of an elevation celebration. 

Meanwhile 'The Problem' takes Rob's new sense of vibrancy and focus to entirely new astral planes. A serious escapade for the mind, body and soul, Rob's year of studio frustration has paid off in an incredible way. Inspiring both in sentiment and sound; these are perfect summer anthems with real meaning behind them. We're looking forward to hearing more.

Opening the EP with the aptly titled ‘Once Upon A Time’ the smooth tribal vibes he’s made his own are quickly in the foreground. Melody is brought into stark view as it meanders around your mind hypnotising you taking you on that magical journey. Next, ‘Titania’ is a more robust, bass-driven track. Brooding and dark, bright melody glistens against the dark sheen of low end fury. Finally ‘Kailash’ soothes with deep warming pads and haunting vocals. Melancholy melodies excite and emote in equal measures.
