Continuing on the crest of the Progressive House wave, we welcome New Zealand via Argentina's secret musical weapon Eichenbaum to the onedotsixtwo familia with his 2 track duel titled EP 'Peripheral / Ethereal Commuter. 

Both tracks packed with lovely proggy goodness and just the right amount of bang to set any dancefloor a blaze. 

On remix duties Uruguay's Diego Berrondo offers up his sizzling interpretation of Peripheral and onedotsixtwo's Grand Poobah and original boss man Nick Brennan aka Tripswitch, makes a welcomed return after a musical hiatus and delivers us a belting remix of Ethereal Commuter.

onedotsixtwo heads to São Paulo by way of the very talented Carla Cimino who has created two sensuous tracks in ‘Fractal’ and ‘Illusion’, while Australia’s Mike Rish delivers a stunning remix of the title track.

Carla Cimino has been directly involved with electronic music and the underground scene in her native São Paulo since the early 2000’s, and began producing her own material almost ten years ago. In that time she has released on many quality imprints such as Warung Recordings, Culprit and BC2 Records gained support from DJ’s far and wide, including Hernan Cattaneo, Hoj, Madloch, Chris Fortier and many more. 

The EP opens with Fractal. Pulsating bass envelops the listener from the offset. Shimmering shakers and congas dance between sustained chords, and ethereal voices build tension amongst plucked strings. A track that would sit equally comfortably during the build of a set, or late into the night. Illusion is next with an addictive groove, razor sharp hats and mesmerising chimes, leading to a break full of excitement and anticipation, and onward to a release worth every second of the build. Mike Rish makes his mark on Fractal and what a mark it is. He takes the key elements of the original and adds a big dose of peak energy using powerful builds and sweeps layered amongst thunderous reverberating FX, while accentuating the string elements. Proper heads down progressive.

We are really honoured and very excited to be welcoming back the legendary UK artist Chris Cargo on the onedotsixtwo roster with his latest 3 track EP titled 'Jackdaw'. 

Chris's musical career and contribution to the Progressive scene, spans over 2 decades. During this time he released has a plethora of amazing releases on some of the worlds best Progressive House labels from back in the day that include Little Fluffy Recordings, Choo Choo, Renaissance and Whoop Recordings to name a few, right through to now on his own If You Wait imprint, The Soundgarden, PlattenBank, Mango Alley, ICONYC and of course us. His tracks have always been firm favourites and supported by the likes of Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy Mantzur & Tripswitch throughout his career. 

2022 saw Chris release his album titled 'Resistance' which marked a huge milestone in his musical journey. 

He first released with us back on 2019 in collaboration with Sonic Union on their double header EP titled Vapour/Depth Charge and then again in 2021 where his track 'Wolfie' was featured on our v/a Electrique Boutique mixed by Steve Marx. 

For this release the title track Jackdaw is accompanied by Falcons Maze & Wondering Why. All 3 tracks are solid progressive cuts each with their own unique soundscapes and edge. Each track really highlights Chris intricate ability to create weapons designed for the dancefloor and sending it sideways.

onedotsixtwo keeps the worldwide progressive flame burning bright in 2020 with its latest release, bringing together the finest talent from 3 continents. Renowned Buenos Aires-based DJ/Producer Sebastian Busto makes his label debut with December and The Miracle, and the label enlists the remix talents of Dmitry Molosh, Zankee Gulati and Lèrr to create an array of stunning interpretations across another exceptional 5-track onedotsixtwo package.

The pulsating energy of December is immediately mesmerising as Sebastian Busto creates the perfectly beautiful dreamy atmosphere that he is renowned for. Elegantly layered melodies float and flow with flawless precision, as his unique musical vision is showcased magnificently. Following on, The Miracle dives deeper with a wonderfully evocative percussive groove and equally blissful melodic layering that, once again, perfectly displays this Argentine artist’s immense talents to perfection. Having previously released on the likes of Balkan Connection, The Soundgarden and Movement, Sebastian Busto’s onedotsixtwo debut will be a 2020 highlight for sure.

The first December remix comes from Belarusian DJ/Producer Dmitry Molosh. Celebrated for his inimitable progressive sound, Dmitry is at the forefront of the new wave of the current scene as one of its most talented forward thinking electronic artists. His stunning remix is fuelled with funk and fire to create an utterly enthralling ride fuelled with rising anticipation and spine-tingling euphoric elation. 

Through his love of exploring progressive realms of music, the Sydney-based Australian DJ/Producer Zankee Gulati is rapidly making his mark on the scene. A blossoming production career has already seen him exhibit his immense talents on the likes of Clinique, Soundteller, Particles, Visceral, Balkan Connection, and most recently, The Soundgarden. His remix of December has seen exclusive early support from Hernan Cattaneo on his Resident radio show, and it is easy to see why. Deeply hypnotic and with a wonderfully intricate arrangement this is masterfully melodic music of the highest order.

Completing this expansive 5-track package is an utterly blissful remix of The Miracle courtesy of Lèrr. This Montenegrin DJ/Producer is recognised for his unique style combining groovy, deep, melodic, progressive vibes. His enchanting musical creations have appeared on Balkan Connection, Sound Avenue, Asymmetric, Trndmsk and more so far in 2020, and his deeply delicious reworking of The Miracle stands out as one of his finest yet.
